Questions About Eye Of The North... - Guild Wars Forums

Hello I just purchased eye of the north and i was hoping someone can answer some of my question about the game:

1) When you have 3 choices to pick helping gwen/the dwarf/the little guy-can i do all 3 missions from them or will i be stuck with one side similar to factions when you have kurzick and luxons.

2) i see always people post skills related to eye of the north like norn skills etc. If i choose to help one side and get their skills ( is this even correct ?) can i get skills from the other people as well? or is it once again like factions where you get kurzick unlocks or luxons unlocks?

3) if my comment above is true what "race" is recommended for what characters?

4) any information on things i can miss out on is greatly appreciated.

1. You can do all 3 at any time and order you choose.
2. You can get all the skills. Including in factions.
3. It's not true.
4. Need more information. You have some fundamental misinformation, hard to tell what more you need.

1) You actually have to. Also you are not actually tied to being either kurzick or luxon.
2) Yes, you can. The skills are all quest rewards. And you can actually get skills from both sides in kurzick/luxon

One last question for anyone that owns eye of the north:
I got 2 extra character slots when i registered the game but I was only given 1 extra slot what gives? is this some kind of a bug or what?
I used to have 5 character slots and now i have 6 instead of 7? anyone experience this before?

1 campaign (prophecies/factions/nightfall) gives 4 character slots. Each campaign extra adds 2 character slots each.

1 campaign = 4 chars
2 campaigns = 6 chars
3 campaigns = 8 chars

Extra character slots can be bought in the store.

EotN does not add character slots (it's an expansion not a campaign). You probably already had 6 character slots (if you had 2 campaigns) and just missed one (you can scroll sideways on the character selection screen).

You don't take sides in EotN. Your job is to convince the Norn, Asura and Ebon Vanguard to help the dwarves fight the Destroyers. You will need to do all the quests in the Hero's Handbook to accomplish this. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:Hero's_Handbook.png

To clear up one thing, you are not "stuck" with one side in Factions. You can, and should, do both sides.
In EotN the choice is only which one you want to do next. You will eventually do all of them.
